Qualifications

* 8 plus years’ experience as PL/SQL Developer (Oracle 11G/12C), Oracle Forms and Reports (12c), APEX

* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related subject

* Excellent problem-solving skills, experience in working in team environment, preferably Agile Scrum

* Unix Shell scripting, some understanding of Java as team consists of Java and PL/SQL developers

* Experience of using Git, GitHub and Jira

* Data Warehouse experience is a plus


Responsibilities

* Participates in Oracle based development projects, including conformance with best practices in Software development life cycle (SDLC); coordinates with business analysts; business subject matter experts and quality assurance staff.

* Fixes and develops changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.

* Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end user service requests as assigned.

* Participates in Backlog grooming, sprint planning and Daily stand-up meetings.

* Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications. Prepares technical documentation on application specifications.

* Debugs applications and ensures specifications are met before integrating new modules and upgrades into the online production database system.

* Adheres to coding standards and other standard work as laid out for applications development.

* Responds promptly to customer needs; takes a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments; manages customer expectations.

3. Role : Test Lead

Summary:

As a Test Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through effective planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities. You will lead a team of testers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects while adhering to established testing processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

* Test Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and objectives. Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

* Test Strategy: Define the testing strategy and approach for various projects. Identify the appropriate testing types (e.g., functional, regression, integration, performance, security) based on project requirements and risk assessment.

* Test Execution: Lead the testing team in executing test cases and analyze test results to identify defects and inconsistencies. Ensure that defects are logged accurately and follow the defect management process.

* Test Team Management: Supervise and mentor the testing team, ensuring proper distribution of tasks, and providing guidance and support to team members. Conduct regular performance evaluations and encourage professional development.

* Test Environment Setup: Coordinate with the development and infrastructure teams to set up and maintain the testing environments required for testing activities.

* Test Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with the automation team to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.

* Test Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on testing progress, test coverage, defects, and other relevant testing metrics to project stakeholders.
